Sale Gown FAQ’s

  • A: These are gowns that have been tried on in store but never worn down the aisle or altered. Because we take on between 40-60 new gowns each year (after we attend bridal market), we have to clear out older styles that have not sold to make room for the new ones!

  • A: These gowns are sold “as-is” (size, color and condition). Generally our sale gowns are discounted by 30-70%, depending upon condition. Sale gowns are not eligible for free steaming or storage services. They are paid-in full and taken home the day of the sale. If you would like to have it cleaned, we have recommendations for local dry-cleaners.

  • A: A price point below $1500. A quick turnaround time, less than 6 months until your wedding date.

  • A: You will likely need AT LEAST a hem and a bustle. In general, most brides in our region wind up spending between $400-$1400 in alterations, which include modifications to the bodice & straps, a hem & bustle.

    Alterations are generally more expensive on long-sleeved dresses and gowns with beading. You may also wind up paying more for a gown that needs to be taken in by more than one size, so be sure to discuss any potential in weight fluctuation with your consultant.
