Trunk Show FAQ’s

Q: What is a Trunk Show?

A: A Trunk Show is when a specific designer sends us “trunks” of additional sample gowns. These are gowns that we usually do not have in-store and are only here for the duration of the trunk show.

Q: What makes trunk show gowns different?

A: Each season, our designers release anywhere from 10-30 new gowns. While we would love to purchase and carry each new style, we are limited by space (and budget). Typically we will purchase about 50-75% of the new collections, each season. Trunk Shows are a great way for brides to try on those additional gowns we weren’t able to purchase as samples.

Q: What are the perks of a Trunk Show?

A: This is a great opportunity for a bride who loves a certain designer to see a broader range of their styles. We typically offer a 10% discount on the featured designer during a trunk show.

Q: How often do you host Trunk Shows?

A: We usually try to feature each designer twice a year.

Q: What sizes do you receive?

A: It depends on the designer, but typically we receive gowns in bridal sizes 10-16. We usually try to host plus-size trunk shows twice a year. If you are curious about sizes and/or styles, email us! We usually have a list of the dresses they are sending us ahead of time.

Q: When should I book my Trunk Show Appointment?

A: If you love a certain designer, book right away! Our Trunk Show appointments are limited and they often fill up fast.

Q: What are your payment policies?

A: A bridal gown order requires a 60% deposit to order which is non-refundable. The remaining 40% balance is due within 60 days of arrival in our shop.
